Circle time (15’)

Greeting: good morning/ hello song:
When
we get to te classroom we will introduce ourselves as we see in the video and
we will explain tha twe are going to sing a song and do related activities.
(2 minutes)
Then
we will sing this welcome song Hello!
and we will invite them to sing with us, to encourage them to participate in
the activity (5 minutes)
Then
we will perform a presentation dynamic where each child will say their name
and a preferred jungle animal accompanied by its characteristic sound.
Example:
My name is Maria and I like the tigergrrrrr!. And so with the other students. (8 minutes)

Lesson content (20’)
|
Introducing elements, characters, vocabulary puppets,
flashcards, realia:
We will
sit the children in a circle and we will brainstorm about the animals and
numbers that they previously know. (5 min)
To
put the children in a situation we will first present to you through images them
a in vocabulary of the song that will be the animals (kangaroo, elephant,
snake, pelican and koala) and the numbers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10).

We will
sing the songThe Animal Song, teaching it first
in parts, that is, stopping the song and explaining what are the key words
(animals and numbers) and then we will sing the song from the beginning among
all. We will repeat the song several times. (12 min)
Once the song is finished, they will be offered drawings
related to the key words so they can take it home and color them as a family.

Saying good-bye (5’)

Finally,
we as ked the children what the activity seemed to them and if they liked it
and to finish we will sing a fare well song GoodByeSong.
